Its always good to see that our Government has got its priorities right.
On the day that they require our armed forces to sneak out of Northern Ireland with their tail between their legs because the politicians capitulated entirely, only killed 730 service men,thats 730 family lives destroyed for no good reason, and what do they do

They announce that if you live with someone when you part they will have a claim on your assetts.

Never mind Iraq, Afghanistan, NHS in melt down, transport grid locked etc, etc, etc

Could I politely suggest that before they extend the legalised theft to co-habitees that they tidy up the law on married couples, it would just take a simple change, in fact it could logically apply to both categories and has the added advantage thats it how things are in Scotland already.

So what is it, simple, what you both have when you meet remains yours, what you jointly create during the relationship is divided on a straight 50/50 basis. This would also include responsibility for any children created during the relationship.

Simple, straight forward and understandable, the only disadvantage that I can see is that it would deny the legal industry their most lucrative area of income.Of course it won't happen because the majority of MP's are also lawyers.

Perhaps Dave Cameron would like to champion this, he could do with a policy or two

Have you noticed ? as soon as The Brown One left the country the weather improved and the sun came out.I then realised that it had rained ever since he became Prime Minister. My mother in law has a similar effect, I always know when she is coming because the sky goes dark and the birds stop singing.

Question ! How come its the place of an incoming British Prime Minister to immdiately go running to pay homage to the President of the United States, why can't he come here ?

I think most intelligent people are now slowly waking up the reality that Gordon Brown single handedly stole the pensions of the Industrial & Commercial workers of the UK, makes Maxwell look like an amatuer.

Lets look at some of his previous form.

Do you remember Spring 2000 ?
One of the events that happened then was the auction of thin air called the 3G mobile licences in which the morons running the mobile phone industry paid the Brown one just a shade under £23,000,000,000 thats £23 billion for the 3G licences.

A neat trick.

I was re reading earlier a report produced at the time by the Academics from Oxford University & University College London who advised on the auction. Buried away in the 26 page document is the note:

"The British Treasury used the money towards paying off the National Debt"
they further noted that the sum raised

"was equal to 2.5% of the UK Gross National Product"

and was sufficient " to build 400 new hospitals"

on the face of it very commendable - however -

if we then look across at The House of Commons Research Paper 01/117 which deals with a strange sleight of hand known as PFI (thats Private Finance Initiative) in which an accountancy trick is used to pretend that the Public Finance & Borrowing requirement is not as high as it really is.

In the Research paper we see that as at 2001 the Treasury ( run by the Brown one, remember)had signed PFI contract that coincidentally added up to £20 billion

with me so far ?

The real killer in these agreements is that the very least that future generations will have to pay back under the PFO contracts is £100 billion over 25 years (not my figures, these are Treasury figures) Of course the figure will be much, much bigger because Civil Servants are, as I know from personal experience, incapable of managing anything.

So good old Gordon shags the mobile industry for £23 billion and pays off old debt - He then borrows ( but pretends he hasn't) another £23 billion which our children will have to pay back at least 4 times over.

There is of course another nasty twist in this little escapade, the 3G licence purchasers have subsequently realised their position and have " written off " most of the expenditure, neat trick because the write offs are offset against their tax liability, so thats billions of tax that they do not have to pay or put it another way they take back the billions they paid in the first place.

So instead of 400 hospitals wholly owned by the people we are lumbered sadly with the debt now incurred under PFI that doesn't go away, thats real - still think he was a good Chancellor?

Please pay attention because you are being sold down the river. The Brown one, you know him, Good Old Gordon , he who has saved us from the Bliar.

While you are all being held in an hypnotic trance by that soft and oh so reasonable Scottish voice, over in Brussles he is commiting an act of dishonesty on a level that has not been seen before.

You will recall that most of the voters of Europe rejected the attempt to turn the economic union into a State. The Constitution was thrown out and that was the end of that. Well actually no, because if you are an unelected and unaccountable European politician you just call the draft constitution something else, treaty perhaps, deny the proles the opportunity to read it and rush, rush it through.

So unless you wake up by December you will wake up in 2008 with a new Government. One over which you have no influence, One which is considered the most corrupt in the World.

Lets look at a few other facts & statistics

How many layers of Government does it take to rule say a Scot?

2 District Council
3 County Council
4 Regional Council
5 Scottish Parliament
5 Westminster Parliament
7 European Parliament

Thats 7 lots of fat idle bureaucrats that the workers have to feed and water, Oh and don't forget that they have all got gold plated, and totally unfunded, pensions, so its for ever and paid for by the workers who have had their pensions destroyed/ stolen by Brown & the labour regime.

Fact 2
The USA Government employs 5% of its population

The UK Government employs 10% of its population

Well that must have really helped the good citizens of places like Gloucester, Tewkesbury, Temple Barr and Oxford there they are houses destroyed by floods, up to their knees in floating sewerage, no water for the next 10 days, probably an unreliable electricity supply and guess what yep a politician turns up to look at them as though they were some sub species that has just been discovered living in the slime.

I see one of the insensitive arseholes wouldn't even gets his wellies wet and floated by in an amphibious vehicle peering down his nose at the proles through a porthole.

The Brown one stood in a car park shedding crocodile tears but ignoring the fact that it was he who has cut the flood defence budget for the last 10 years. A good old Dave went for some sunshine in Rwanda - yes we get the Government we deserve. I really do thinks its time for voting to be made compulsory and for the voting papers to have an added line saying " non of the above "

Its good to see that the children who pretend they are our Government have reverted to type and are now squabbling over who is the hardest on terrorism.
The Brown one now wants the right to grab people off the street and bang em up for a couple of months while our police force try and fit them up with something. Not a good idea Gord, particularly as you already have the power to incarcerate so this latest announcement amounts to little more than willy waving.

Had an interesting experience recently in The People Republic of Yorkshire. I was stopped for going too fast - fair cop guv i was - however my conversations with the plod that stopped me were great fun.
They were members of the armed response unit but had been taken off armed responding because the force was " behind with its convictions quota " so £60.00 for them and 3 points for me. Makes you proud to be British.
Talking of which, at the end of my telling off by plod they produced a form for me to fill in, it was a tick box form demanding to know what " ethnic group " I was. This was I think designed to piss me off big time, I thought we were all one big happy family now, multiculturism and all that. Plod were clearly very embarrassed so I ticked "Chinese" since you ask I am white, middle aged, British and male.
But I thought lets give the Chinese a bad name, when I explained this to my by now 2 friendly plods, they just laughed.
We then had a fun discussion on what actually happens to the data off the forms, they assumed it just kept some bureaucrat sat on their fat arse collating data that no one reads.
I wondered however what would happen if say the collated data showed that the majority of road traffic offenders were for example Asian Muslims - step forward please the Politician who would have the balls to do something about it - ah the sound of silence

I have long mused on what it is that turns Governments in to monuments of incompetence.

I think I have now worked it out, its all down to the human condition.

People gravitate towards things or tasks that are easy and keep away from things that are difficult. Throw " targets " into this mix and the whole thing goes pear shaped.

OK I hear you say give us an example.

The CSA.
The CSA was set up with the widely supported role of chasing down the feckless missing parent and making them pay for the results of their casual sex life - how we all applauded at the time.
However the workers at the CSA found it was very difficult to achieve this, particularly when targets were imposed - solution - easy, chase those that were already paying something and make them pay more. meanwhile those that the CSA was set up to deal with get off scot free.

Police Forces

A couple of years ago my offices were broken into and all the IT equipment stolen,about £20,000 since you ask - 14 days later the local police turned up to investigate, eventually it was discovered, they got round to viewing the CCTV footage, that the criminals came from the local " Travellers " camp Sorry said Plod we can't do anything as it would damage our relationship with the "Traveller Community " i.e we can't do it because its too hard.
6 months later our Admin Directors mother had her mobile stolen from her car, within hours she had the works including forensics and scene of crime plus an offer of counselling.

So Bliar remains greasy to the end. It appears that he and his regime have managed to avoid being jailed for taking bribes, sorry contributions to party funds, from sad inadequates who wanted to call themselves Lord, wanker seems a more fitting description for someone who hands over £1,000,000 in exchange for the opportunity to sit in an irrelevant second chamber and pretend they are important.
How Levy and Bliar must have laughed behind their victims backs.

Amusing to note the difference in news presentation between floods " Up North " grudgingly mentioned by the BBC and the veritable flood ( geddit ?) of news coverage when it rains in the Thames Valley.

Now here is a thought for today.

Every year since 1994 the Auditors have refused to sign off the EU's accounts er whats that mean then. It means they are sufficiently wrong and or corrupt to be unacceptable.

Lets draw a parallel, I run various companies in the UK if my auditors refused to sign off my accounts the company would be deemed non viable be prevented from operating and eventually forcibly closed down. I could be jailed for trading illegally.

Bt the same Standards the wise people who operate the EU have no legitimacy to Govern they most certainly do not have the legitimacy to enact a new Constitution

So the by elections held in West London and Sedgefield were a success for Labour - er - I think not
In 58% of the voters voted for other than Labour in the other 55.3% voted for someone other than Labour.

Please don't tell me this is a vote of confidence in Brown as it clearly is not.

It does however show the clear views of the majority of the electorate i.e.anyone but Brown

Oh that moment of euphoria, the headline said " BBC executives suspended" and for a moment I thought - at last they strung a few of the pinko bastards up.

But no, it seems that their punishment is to be fully paid but stay at home and not work, that'll teach em.
